Synopsis:

A classic British mystery in which a wealthy but despised English landholder is found shot to death in the study of his country estate. When the local police come to investigate, they find a abundance of clues and suspects. Is the beautiful, unfaithful young wife of the landowner guilty? The housekeeper is suspicious. And what of the mysterious stranger who has suddenly appeared at the manor? Audience members will enjoy matching wits with the detective in trying to unravel the tangle.
